The school is the data controller for personal data processing related to website management. These processes are implemented in accordance with applicable law.

This is a private professional social network enabling users (students, graduates, partners) to support each other, stay in touch, facilitate connections with recruiters, share job opportunities, exchange advice, promote training, foster professional integration, employment, and careers, organize workshops and events... Your data is not used for commercial or political prospecting purposes unless you have expressly consented to it.

Your information is included in a database managed by our provider MEVIA, registered with the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 501 609 143, responsible for hosting and providing the alumni directory on behalf of the school via a SaaS platform on a secure server located in the European Union.

Personal data of students and graduates: as a student or graduate,

the data entered by the school directly into your profile are: first name, last name, email, and training completed. This data is necessary to obtain an Account and access services. Other data can optionally be updated by Users themselves in their profile to present their expertise and projects to other Users in order to interact, create networking opportunities, and generate statistics on professional mobility. Optional data that can be filled in include:

- Profile photo;

- Personal introduction;

- Personal contact details (phone, mobile, personal email(s), primary and secondary address), date of birth, marital name, family status;

- Current job and professional details (position, job type, company, industry type, etc.);

- Previous job(s);

- Current situation and career aspirations;
- Acquired skills and spoken languages;

- Additional training;

- Volunteer activities and interests;

- Curriculum vitae (via uploaded file or generated from previous information).

Your identity is publicly visible only if you activate your public profile or public CV. Each user is free to activate or deactivate their public profile at any time. You can manage all your data directly from your profile if it is activated.

Personal data of company representatives and/or recruiters ("Recruiters"): as a Recruiter, your personal data such as your first and last name, your position in the company, and your email address, and possibly your phone number, are processed to allow you to access the site's features, notably the student and graduate directory. Please note that you are solely responsible for collecting and processing data you consult on this site. You must therefore comply with the applicable regulations and your obligations as a data controller.

Personal data of external visitors registering for an event: as a simple visitor, you may be required to provide the following information: name, first name, and email; depending on the event, we may request additional data: postal address, phone number (landline or mobile), date of birth, your position in your company, your professional address, and your professional email address.

Use of the Site’s forms: whether you are a student, graduate, Recruiter, or just a visitor, you may provide us with a certain amount of personal data such as your name and email address to benefit from the services offered on the site and to respond to your information requests. Your data may also be used for analysis and survey purposes.

Users agree to always provide truthful and accurate Personal Data and to update it if necessary to keep it complete and accurate. We may regularly prompt you to do so.

Use of Site features: When using the Site, we automatically collect information, including personal data, about the services you use and how you use them. This information is necessary for the proper execution of the agreement between you and us, to comply with legal obligations, and due to our legitimate interest in providing and improving the Site’s functionalities. This information is necessary to process your requests and better interact with you. In our online forms, required fields are marked with an asterisk. Without answering required questions, we will not be able to provide the requested service(s).

Your data is retained by the school in the directory as long as your profile is active and any membership contract with the school is ongoing.

  1. Data recipients

Your data is only shared with individuals authorized by the school, including the school’s administrative department and the Alumni website management team, as well as individuals authorized by MEVIA and other service providers responsible for carrying out services on behalf of the school.

Your User data (First Name, Last Name, Photo, City, Country, Position, Company) is visible to other Users from the Directory (list and map view) and through any interaction on the professional social network via activities or User participation in articles, events, comments, groups, or discussions.

Information collected from Users via their profile and forms can only be viewed by other Users of the network (students, graduates, authorized recruiters, Administrators). Users can limit access to their profile data depending on the User type via their privacy settings.

Recruiters may access the alumni directory. In their consultations, Recruiters are solely responsible for data processing.

3. Data security and confidentiality

The school implements appropriate measures to safeguard the security and confidentiality of your personal data, particularly to prevent it from being altered, damaged, or accessed by unauthorized third parties. Some of the protective measures we use include firewalls and encrypted data transmission using SSL/HTTPS technology.

4. Your “Informatique et Libertés” rights

In accordance with applicable regulations, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, and oppose your personal data. You also have the right to prior consent for commercial prospecting and opposition under applicable law. You can request access to your personal data and define instructions regarding your personal data after your death.
